Press accreditation from the German Bundestag is required for reporting on political and parliamentary activities from the Bundestag buildings. The annual accreditation from the Federal Government is not valid.
Note on valid press ID cards
The German Bundestag’s Press Unit has accepted the agreement between the Conference of Interior Ministers and the German Press Council on a uniform national press ID card.
The associations currently entitled to obtain accreditation are listed on the website of the German Press Council: Deutscher Journalistenverband (DJV), Deutsche Journalistinnen- und Journalisten-Union (dju in ver.di), Bundesverband Deutscher Zeitungsverleger (BDZV), Verband Deutscher Zeitschriftenverleger (VDZ), Verband Deutscher Sportjournalisten (VDS) and the photographers’ association FREELENS.

Accreditation badges must be returned to one of the entrances or to the accreditation office upon expiration or when leaving the Bundestag for the last time.Note on returning expired accreditation
Any loss of the accreditation badge must be reported immediately!
